News of note...

Actually, there isn't much of anything new going on around here.
We really are starting to be those boring people that only hang out with their kids!

Frank has been off this week, so i've used this time to get some quality runs in with the dog.
Well, they aren't so much runs as they are drags.
He litterally drags me down the road as fast as we both can go without me falling to the ground and physically being dragged by him.
Then we turn around and, finally, run at a nice pace on the way home...
until he sees a bird/squirrel/deer/cat/etc, or even smells one...
then it's off to the races again!
Well, at least i'm getting some good speed training in, lol!

Em hasn't been feeling well lately.
I'm not sure if she's teething or what, but she was running a fever yesterday and she was crazy cranky.
Of course, all that had to happen on the day we decided we would take the side off her crib and let her try a toddler bed.
How many times can an almost 2 year old fall out of bed, you ask?!
Well, when it was Mady, i would have answered 1.
Now...it's at least 3-5 times a night.
I'm thinking it has to do with the fever and crankiness...like she's just trying to roll out from under the blanket.
At least that's what i'm hoping.
Right now, the floor around her bed is covered in pillows and fluffy comforters.

Em is also, currently, on a hunger strike.
If it isn't gummies, candy, ice cream, milk or juice, she isn't eating/drinking it.
She is continuing her "stuff 10 bites into my mouth and just let it there ALL DAY" routine.
Honestly, i think she does it to try my patience.
She refuses to eat it...it's just gross!!
This is all new for me.
I don't know how to make her eat!
We actually have to scoop it out of her mouth before bed or nap time, so she doesn't choke on it while she sleeps.
It's really getting annoying.
Today, i started my own little games with her.
I am only giving her 1 bite at a time, and if she doesn't eat it, then she doesn't eat.
Eventually she'll have to start swallowing her food...right?!
And she is only getting 1 cup of milk and 1 cup of juice a day, which she is thoroughly pissed about.
She is a milk lover.
She could drink 10 cups a day if i'd let her.
But she needs more water during the day...at least some!
Here's praying this wont' last very long and she'll just start acting like a normal kid soon.
Cuz this food hoarding stuff is trying my patience!
