Playing catch-up

So i've been MIA for a few days, as you can see. Frank doesn't like when i spend time on the computer now that he's home, even if the baby is sleeping. Go figure. Well, i'm getting on the computer anyway...i have to blog, it's like an addiction now!

So yesterday, the people from the water company came to the house to mark where our cut-off thingy is at outside. If you've been following my drama with the man on the corner, you know what i'm talking about. Well, they got here and they couldn't find the circle thingy in the pavement. I didn't think we had one, but then again, what do i know. Well, they came in and looked at the line in the basement and they talked to Frank about it. These guys didn't really have much to say though. They didn't really understand it, as they said they have never seen a pipe that comes into a house like that before. Great, thanks for being so helpful! So that just leaves us with some phone calls to make. This guy is really getting on my nerves with this whole thing.

New with Mady: so we've switched her feeding times. We thought it would be better for her, even though it's more work for us. We are now feeding her 5 times a day instead of the previous 4. We aren't feeding her the same amount we used to though, since it's more often now...it's the same TOTAL amount though, it's just less at each bottle to balance it out. She seems happier, but that's probably because she has something in her mouth to suck on more often, and she's being held more often (if that's even possible). She is also taking pretty regular naps now too. About every 2-2 1/2 hours she'll take at least a 15min nap. That seems to help her a lot too, she doesn't get as cranky. She is also starting to enjoy her toys more and more lately. It's so cute to watch.

I just stumbled across your blog. Apparently you do not have any idea on how to take care of a baby. Your baby should be eating a lot more than 5 times a day. No wonder the poor thing is only sleeping 15 mins at a time she's probably starving. No wonder her fingers are always in he mouth.
A baby is suppose to put on 2 lbs a month. I think your baby is malnourished!!!!

Hey Anonymous? You are an asshat. My big old chub of a baby (2 months and 16 pounds) eats 5 times a day, and sometimes less. At 16 pounds, he clearly is NOT malnourished. You. Are. An. Idiot.

Now, let's play a little game. It's called Hide and Go F*ck yourself. You go first!

My Baby also only eats 5 times a day, and is perfectly healthy... umm ever hear of hands in their mouth because they are teething??? Guess any mother that allows their child to have their hands in their mouth are bad parents... are you even a parent?????.. maybe anonymous should get a life and post their name if they are so opinionated...

Anonymous,

Per the Enfamil and Similac guidelines, a 2 - 3 month old should eat 5 to 6 times a day. A 3 - 7 month old should eat 4 to 5 times a day. Perhaps you should inform these companies of your vast "knowledge" on the subject AND when they revise thier guide, you can comment again. Until then, you sound like a moron and should keep your nasty comments to yourself. Do some research before speaking. It works wonders in who wants to listen.

Hey Anonymous,

As my fellow mommies have so nicely pointed out - 3 month old babies only need to eat 5 times a day, and it would be extremely unusual for them NOT to put their hands in their mouth. I didn't catch your name, nor your credentials indicating your self-proclaimed guru status, so until then I suggest you leave the parenting duties to the parents. If you have time to "stumble" across a blog, read, and post, then if you are a parent your child must be missig one of the much needed feedings you were refering to...

Anonymous, obviously your not a mother/father (or a very good one). My daughter is 4 months old and she eats 5-6x a day, and will suck/chew on whatever she can (her hands or mine). Im sorry that your clearly this jelouse of Stacey's beautiful family that you feel the need to ruin their happiness to make yourself feel better. I would LOVE to see your credentials on where the hell your getting your information at bc Im sure all our doctors would love to hear this bullshit. GET A LIFE. Worry about your own family (god forbid there's actually any human being that is depending on you to live) and fuck off.
